How well does the iphone 3g handle attachments to emails in MS outlook? More specifically, can it open and read excel, word, powerpoint, and PDF's?
Can you edit/create excel and word documents on an iphone 3g?

Yes you can open them with no issue. I don't think you can edit them. I've never tried personally. But I don't think so.

Thanks Bad Ash, that was the last item I needed to resolve before I went ahead and bought a couple of these for my sales staff. They wanted the origonal iphone, but I always brushed them off; told them we only use "big boy" phones here. Well, it seems now that apple added activesync and MS exchange server support, the iphone might just be a big boy phone. We'll soon see.

No problem. You'll have more fun with this phone than any BB, Treo, WM device out there... I promise.
