And please don't even go to MMS... MMS is so poor it's disgusting. I have it on my Treo Pro and it compresses the images so much it's pretty much pointless. Having a BB as a music player is pathetic compared to a iPod/iPhone. Fact - there is not a single better MP3 player or multimedia device out there been these two Apple products. No 3rd party software let alone RIM software on any BB can compete.

And I'm really not against BB but they totally dropped the ball with the Bold. Like I said, old news... Much better devices are being released the next few months - so if you are on the fence for a Bold I'd suggest waiting about a month longer...

ok, let me rephrase this. A real physical keyboard, not touch screen. Also I dont want to be hassled sending a picture via email, just because the phone wont perform a simple task. Not everyone has a smart phone, and can view email pictures on their cell phones. As for the mp3 player part, the bb works just fine.. I used my curve for one, and it worked great. Sounded just as good as any other mp3 player ive used including apple. May have not been as easy, but then again, i bought a phone...

I will say this though.. From looking at the storm vids, it will have a kinda similar interface as far as going through your music,and switching songs, and ect.

I have an i touch. fyi apple fanboy... Go back, and read the edit post. I said not everyone can just get online and check emails on the spot, its way easier to receive pictures immediately. Fact is, the bb does stuff better than the iphone, aswell as the iphone does stuff better than the berry. So lets not dispute that argument. For a phone, the bb wins hands down for me. K thanks

If you want garbage quality pictures, that's your business. Do you have a iPhone? No? If not, move along, nothing to see here.... And this thread should be about the Bold being released on Nov. 4th. Please keep it on topic. Thanks!

Friends send me "MMS" by just text'n to my email address which I can then check. I can also send out by emailing to their phone email address such as ########@mms.att.net so I really don't see the big fuss over MMS? Basically this would actually be cheap if I didn't already have unlimited text'n.

We've had it in Canada for a month or so. I think Kevin has 26 of them!

It's a little big for my tastes. The Javelin/next gen Curve seemed far nicer, and had major build quality. Also, while I'm still not a fan of the hard keyboard, I was less not a fan of the Javelin
