Macbook Air Gen 2
Gots it this week! Super impressed with how fast it works considering the throttled down CPU and GPU. The H.264 decoding is awesome -- streaming HD movies from my iMac over 802.11n without stutter and not burning my lap to a crisp is sweet!
It feels very light, but very strong. The uni-body is genius. SSD and LED make it instant on from sleep, which has heretofore been but a dream for me.
Gestures, identical to the new MB and MBP, are great for productivity, though it will take my brain a while to start defaulting to them.
Not for hardcore video editing, gaming, or port connecting, to be sure, but for travel and blogging, it's just perfect. Not to mention a miracle of engineering there, Mr. Ive.
Loves it!
(Expensive, yes, but that's why I work three jobs to... er... give all my money back to Jobs? iSigh).
